How to fix abnormal clock speeds and fan behavior on ASUS RTX 3080 Strix OC?
I recently purchased an ASUS RTX 3080 Strix OC graphics card and I noticed some issues with its performance and cooling. The card always runs at 100% boost clock of 1905 Mhz and memory clock of 9501 Mhz, even when idle. I tried changing the power settings in the control panel and switching the card to "Quiet Mode", but nothing changed. The Zero Fan Mode also does not work, as the fans keep spinning at a constant speed regardless of the temperature. I attached some screenshots of the GPU-Z and ASUS GPU Tweak II software to show the problem.
I have updated the drivers and Windows to the latest versions and I only use ASUS GPU Tweak II for overclocking. I also tried using MSI Afterburner and uninstalling GPU Tweak II, but that did not help either. The only thing that partially solved the issue was updating the GPU BIOS, which fixed the fan issue for the outer fans, but not for the inner one. It also fixed the clock speeds, but I am not sure if they are still optimal.
Is there any way to fix these issues completely and make the card run normally? What could be the cause of these problems and how can I prevent them in the future? I would appreciate any expert advice on this matter. Thank you.
